This is my first themeless mini, continuing the thread from last month’s themeless midi of focusing on smaller puzzles. I did clue this one on the hard side, I was aiming for classic end of the week difficulty although test solvers have told me it plays more like mid-week. Sometimes the difficulty in smaller puzzles is less the cluing and more that there just aren’t a lot of ways in. I’m guessing it will play easier or harder depending on how quickly you get one or two of the longer answers.

My favorite clue is 6-Across and it being such a small puzzle, I only managed to get two television references in. It may soon be time for me to do an entire puzzle with only television references.
