I had fun with the silliness of this one, I debated whether to submit it to a publication and ultimately figured it wouldn’t be to any editor’s taste. I was kind of surprised that no one else had attempted something like this as it seemed a pretty obvious theme to me.

This is a 74 word puzzle that I tried to clue to Monday NYT standards, which is to say easy. Although the theme may be too far on the corny side, I am happy that with each puzzle I am getting better at avoiding crosswordese.
