Back in May, I put together a puzzle targeted at my Generation X peeps — Not For GenX Only (May 2024). It was a fun puzzle to make as it’s always enjoyable to nostalgize and late 20th century pop culture is a wonderfully deep well of content to mine. I got some good feedback on the puzzle and I decided to turn into a semi-regular feature.

We’ll see how long I can keep it going but yesterday I posted the first of a series of GenX-themed mini puzzles to the genxword.com website. A new one will appear every Thursday under the #tbt tag. I decided not to post the puzzles here although I will occasionally post pointers such as this one to remind my blog readers that they exist.

I hope you enjoy this new effort. I have a bunch of puzzles already finished in the hopper and am going to try to do this project for at least a year. I realize that’s a tall effort but isn’t that why I retired? Oh wait…
