Back in May, I put together a puzzle targeted at my Generation X peeps — Not For GenX Only (May 2024). It was a fun puzzle to make as it’s always enjoyable to nostalgize and late 20th century pop culture is a wonderfully deep well of content to mine. I got some good feedback on the puzzle and I decided to turn into a semi-regular feature.

We’ll see how long I can keep it going but yesterday I posted the first of a series of GenX-themed mini puzzles to the Crosswordr website. A new one will appear on my profile every Thursday under the #tbt tag. I decided not to post the puzzles here although I will occasionally post pointers such as this one to remind my blog readers that they exist. Of course, the easiest way to find each new puzzle is to join Crosswordr (it’s free!) and then follow my profile. That way, every puzzle I post will show up on your dashboard along with a lot of high quality puzzles from other (much better than me) constructors.

I hope you enjoy this new effort. I have a bunch of puzzles already finished in the hopper and am going to try to do this project for at least a year. I realize that’s a tall effort but isn’t that why I retired? Oh wait…
