I constructed this puzzle at the end of 2023 during the winter holidays, it was one of those themes that came out of a different theme and fell together pretty quickly. So quickly in fact that after I had set the grid and made my way through many of the clues, I realized it was similar in concept to an NYT Sunday puzzle of about four years ago. Oh well… nothing new under the sun, right? Only one of my themers overlapped with that previous effort and I went in a slightly different direction with the cluing. Ultimately, the theme was too unfocused to get published anywhere anyway so, as always, their loss is your gain!

Hope you enjoy this 74 worder. A little blocky but a pretty clean grid I think.
